Jacob’s Original Cream Crackers is Malaysia’s oldest brand of cracker. So, in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day, Jacob’s decided to celebrate Malaysians who were just like it. The first. The best. And the timeless.
The Idea
In conjunction with Independence Day, we decided to celebrate Malaysians who were the first at what they did, the best at it, or simply timeless. In other words, people that were as Original as Jacob’s. For good measure, we told this story by turning the very cracker into a canvas.

Each cracker was shot in a stop-motion technique, making both the engravings and crackers come to life.
Even crumbs were arranged one at a time.
